We spoke with Mary Van Naeltwijck from MJ Interiors. about her latest project featuring custom hardware, curated by Turnstyle Designs.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
“The client wanted to create her first swimwear boutique in Monaco, she wanted something fresh and light to represent her summer swimwear pieces. “
Located in the Old Town of Monaco, Ciao Bella is the first swimwear shop within the area and Mary’s first ever boutique design brief.
‘Where style meets sun-kissed adventures’ Ciao Bella, a sustainable swimwear brand, requested a light and fresh interior to represent the summer range.
Featured on the drawers, cabinets and all internal doors of this stylish boutique, Mary and the Turnstyle Designs team discussed ideas at Decorex 2022 for the up and coming project in Monaco.
Together with the sales team and Turnstyles’ Modify service, existing designs were chosen and bespoke grips were applied alongside our Fine Antique Brass finish finish.

WERE ANY OTHER BRANDS FEATURED?
Enamoura was used for the light fixtures above the cashier but everything else was bespoke.

ABOUT MJ INTERIORS
After studying in KLC School of Design and Inchabl School of Design, Mary lived and worked in London before starting her own company 4 years ago. She has worked at numerous design companies such as Winch Design, Taylor Howes and Morpheus & Co.
Mary now lives and works around the French Riviera and Monaco, where her company is based.
