A collaborative effort by interior designers Lucia Vega Interiors and Sophie Stanbury Interiors, this affluent, Knightsbridge based property redefines luxury living.
THE BRIEF
The two designers worked closely with the client throughout this 2- bedroom refurbishment project. Their client requested a high-end luxury finish and was heavily involved in choosing certain pieces. Special attention was paid to all the finishes selected and used, especially that of the ironmongery.
The joinery, wall coverings, and timber beading were to be redesigned, and this is where AG Meridian Joinery excelled. Creating beautiful bespoke pieces of furniture, custom made for the clients needs and space, they required only the finest quality handles to complement their expert craftsmanship.

THE PRODUCT
Both designers and client visited the Design Centre in Chelsea Harbour, London where they sourced the fabrics, wall coverings and most of the lighting.
“Having the Turnstyle showroom based in at DCCH was so convenient. It means we could choose the perfect handles to match each piece, discuss finish options and designs, as well as specification details and pricing. All whilst having the other samples and swatches from previous showrooms.”
As well as Turnstyle Designs, many other brands were used throughout the project.
“As the Creative Director and AG Meridian Joinery, I use a lot of wall coverings for our bespoke cabinetry. For this project we used a vinyl animal skin wall covering by Arte for the hallway wardrobes. We also used a faux suede wall covering by Phillip Jeffries for the bedroom wardrobe fronts.
Bespoke joinery and custom-made furniture is becoming more popular every day. It makes sense for these beautifully made, quality pieces to emulate the same story with the hardware applied.
All Turnstyle Designs handles are made to order, by hand in our North Devon based factory. This project, like many others, recognised the importance of marrying these two interior design aspects and the finished look is the proof that it works.
