New Year, New Space
February 8, 2022
New trends and forecasts mean new spaces and exciting projects! No longer are neutrals the staple go-to for interior spaces. Experimenting with colours and bolder choices is what 2022 is all about.
With more time than ever being spent indoors, working, socialising, living and much more, making the most out of your inside space has become paramount. Earthy colours such as brown and terracotta are coming through more and more in cabinetry, fabrics and even paint choices. Natural inspired shapes, surfaces and accents are finding their way into interior design styles, giving a welcoming and cosy feeling to any room, and adding personality and flare.
“Clients are asking for warmth, comfort and airiness—this seems to be a common thread amongst current and past projects,” says Garcia. Athena Calderone, founder of Eyeswoon from Elise Taylor’s ‘Interior Design Trends 2022’ report.
“Neutrals will take a bit of a back seat in 2022 as people start to experiment with colour again, but the palette will stay very close to hues you’d find in nature.” -Athena Calderone
These earthier tones and colours can be found in a wide range of our products and across all our signature materials. We take great inspiration from our natural surroundings, and this is shown throughout our style of hardware. Whether you want to make a real statement or accent a specific area, you will most certainly find something to suit any room.
Finishes like our Fine Antique Brass and Vintage Patina for example will work perfectly for this trend. Their deep rich styles make them the ideal choice either in solid brass or alongside our Amalfine™ or Leather.
